Tapeo Bar: Reviews & Ratings
Busy place but good food. Pretty well priced for all the options and the food tastes really good.
We visited based on a local’s recommendation. The food was delicious, packed with flavor, and arrived fairly quickly. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the staff remained friendly and attentive throughout. They have an interesting take on paella: made with vermicelli noodles instead of rice. Overall, great ambiance and reasonably priced.
I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. It was recommended to us by some other travelers we met and the food is excellent! We were a party of 2 and visited on a Sunday night for dinner at around 8pm and did not have reservations. We entered the restaurant and there were 2 tables available and we were seated right away. The bar was almost completely full. We did have to wait about 10 mins before anyone came to the table for us to order. But once the order was taken, things moved more quickly. The food was very good with a variety of tapas available! See photos. The space was tight, but cozy as is typical with a lot of very good tapas bars in Barcelona. Our bill for 2 people was 60 euros and did not include alcohol. We had 5 tapas, 2 waters and 2 soft drinks. I will say it was difficult to find. We were using "Tapeo Bar" with Google Maps and were taken to a location that was not the correct one. We spent a good amount of time hunting around and then used "Tapeo" in Google Maps and arrived with no problem. So I'm not sure if they are the same place or different restaurants. The sign at the place we ate at read "Tapeo".
